Description
For the distribution of Chris Marker’s 'Le fond de l’air est rouge' (1977), Fugitive Cinema and its partner company Cinélibre provided a poster that featured an image from the famous Odessa steps sequence in Sergei Eisenstein’s 'Battleship Potemkin' (1925). As the poster for Robbe De Hert’s 'Le filet américain' (1978-1981) also referred to Potemkin, a connection between 'Le fond de l’air est rouge' and 'Le filet américain', two films that made a critical analysis of the past ten years, was already established on a promotional level.
